So you got some Stormfront gray Revo 2.0s, and are like hmm, blue steel-ish, haze-y… let’s try something else.

First step, remove the Gi chinstrap hardware and chinstrap, check the menu on this site for my tutorial on it.

Far more experienced DudeBros give the following guidelines:

-dish soap scrub the bottoms before and after dyeing to encourage nestling of the color

-bring the water to a temp where you can see the small bubbles rising but it isn’t boiling yet

-1 full bottle of Ritt proline (I could only get Ritt synthetic)

-use a pot you do not intend up cooking in ever again, same goes for utensils, the chopsticks I used got stained

I did all of the above, then my pot wasn’t tall enough for the bottoms as-is so I tied ‘em with some hemp wick to narrow them.

After about 5 minutes I got bored turning them and stuff and stopped. I’d expected dark gray, got a JOTUN 4:20strap-worthy set of dark greens 🔥

The lesson, I guess, is experimenting might be necessary to figure it out. This is why we pay the dyeing DudeBros who know what they’re doing for the cool $hit they create 💀
